Planning a Party? Here are 4 sustainable ways to celebrate and save the environment

Last week, my better half was looking to plan a corporate party. I knew that it wasn't practical to have reusable utensils and plates, so I did some digging. Traditional plastic wear is so unhealthy for us and the environment. It takes years to breakdown and has now entered our oceans and ultimately our food!

Going plastic-free is not just a one time thing, it is a lifestyle change. While it hasn't been easy, it is exciting when you find a replacement that is not only better for you, but mother nature as well!

My top 4 most haves for a sustainable party are below:

1. Compostable Tablecloth

Go plastic free and guilt free with this compostable tablecloth! Their tablecloths are crafted from plant-derived resin, vegetable oils, and compostable polymers, so when you’re through with them, place them in the soil or compost bin!

2. 100% Recycled Unbleached Napkins

Buying recycled unbleached napkins saves water and the environment. There are no added dyes, fragrances, chlorine, BPA or formaldehyde. A big win for you and our lovely planet :)

3. 100% Compostable Plastic Silverware

These utensils are eco-friendly & certified 100% compostable. They are made from renewable and sustainable plant resources, unlike traditional utensils which are made from oil. The best part: the content is including in plastic free packaging!

4. Eco-Friendly Plates

Let's be honest here, styrofoam is so out! Not mention, we've all been there trying to cut our food and the knife goes right through the plate. Made from sugar cane fibers, these plates are durable and completely tree free!
